Been a while since my last news post.
Ok, to start things off. On a whim I decided to look at updates for the services and noticed something rather interesting. Most of the modules I use have been baked into the services itself in the latest updates, which means it’ll be far easier to use than those 3rd party modules I’ve loaded. One in particular I like to use is SSL Auth via NickServ. I use it on Rizon as well, and it ensures you know its me using my names and such.
There are some other things in the services, but I’ll go over those at some other point. I may have to re-do the tutorial pages as well to fit some of the new features that will be available. The biggest change is how channel management will be done, but that will have to wait until later. But, if I recall, users will have a choice between 3 different systems of management.
Stay tuned for more updates, because this means I’m going to restart my efforts to get the servers and services upgraded, so this will be a fun few days. Those connected on the servers will get immediate news through Global notices as necessary. Major updates will continue to be posted here as needed.
